Who is Mike Orr

I now work from my home in Stockbridge, in the heart of the Test Valley, and work with clients from the New Forest to Portsmouth and up into Berkshire. I cover the cities of Bournemouth, Salisbury, Winchester, Newbury, Basingstoke, Southampton and Portsmouth, and the towns of Andover and Romsey. I photograph weddings, portraits, events, model portfolios, makeovers, pets, babies, children, proms and lots, lots more – and I love every minute of it!

I am a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, the British Professional Photographers Association and the Bureau of Freelance Photographers and I hold a current CRB certificate for working with children and young people.

I hope I never have to retire from what I do and, in the event of my winning the lottery, I think that I would carry on taking photographs – but would probably do it for free!

I really enjoy what I do and I enjoy meeting and working with my many clients whether I am meeting them on their wedding day, in the studio for their portrait or makeover, for their first attempt at getting a model portfolio together or at that important dinner dance where they have got dressed up for the first time in years! My enjoyment is reflected in the quality of my work and I know that my clients enjoy their experience of photography with me.
